Sat. 8/19  Beignet Breakfast in Burbank (pillows of fried dough with powdered sugar plus live music)

Honey-Chipotle Smoked Duck – slow smoked 1/2 duckling finished with a honey-chipotle BBQ glaze.  Served with steamed broccoli and baked beans. 17.99   1/4 duck 14.99

Soup: Cajun Seafood Bouillabaisse- seafood broth with saffron, shrimp, fish, crawfish, clams, and mussels


Sun. 8/20   Cajun Shrimp  Enchiladas two enchiladas filled with shrimp, Andouille sausage, and Monterey jack cheese on a bed of Chuck’s spicy voodoo cream sauce.  Served with rice and a side salad. 15.99

Soup: Sopa de Siete Mares – spicy seafood soup with clams, mussels, fish, crab, shrimp  in a spicy tomato based broth with a hint of hoya santa


Mon. 8/21  Cajun Chicken Primavera – a spicy Cajun Alfredo sauce with roasted onions, Zucchini, Yellow Squash, and grilled chicken breast over a bed of penne pasta.  Topped with fresh grated parmesan cheese and served with garlic bread. 13.99

Tues. 8/22 Tamale Casserole – large tamale cooked in banana leaves, filled with pulled pork in a spicy tomatillo sauce. Topped with our Mexican style chili, cheese and sour cream.  Served with rice and refried beans. 11.99

Wed. 8/23 Cajun Tortellini Au Gratin – cheese tortellini topped with a creamy Cajun shrimp and crab sauce.  Topped with fresh grated Romano cheese and a side of steamed broccoli. 15.99

Thurs. 8/24  Carne Asada Poc Chuc –Allen Bros. 8-10 oz.  prime filet mignon tail marinated in an achiote rub (Mexican spices), grilled to order and served with pickled red onions, habanero salsa, tomato chipotle rice, refried black beans and a side of tortillas  18.99

Fri. 8/25  Cajun Smoked Stuffed Trout – a fresh Rainbow trout stuffed with crawfish, crab, and andouille sausage cornbread stuffing, slow smoked then served on a bed of Cajun seafood cream sauce. Served with rice pilaf and Sauteed fresh veggies from the garden. 17.99

Sat. 8/26  Filet Au Poivre classic Cajun/French Steak Preparation.  Pan seared 8-10 oz. Allen Bros. Filet Mignon tail with a peppercorn crust, deglazed with cognac and a 36-hour Demi-Glace.  Served with Turnip and potato mashed and quick-seared veggies. 19.99   This will be an incredible steak dinner I Promise!

Sun. 8/27  Camarones en Mojo De Ajo—  jumbo shrimp sautéed in garlic olive oil, then topped with a roasted garlic sauce w/ avocado, black beans, zucchini and yellow squash, and grilled green onions.  Served with sides of rice and a super Caesar salad.  15.99

Tues. 8/29  Fried Shrimp Baton Rouge – fried jumbo shrimp nestled in a bed of Turnip and Yukon gold potato mashed (these potatoes are killer) and Cajun greens, topped with a Creole mustard cream sauce. 15.99

Wed. 8/30 Jamaican Jerk Chicken KabobsJerk marinated chicken breast, zucchini, squash, onion, and mushroom, served on a bed of coconut red beans and rice topped with our mango salsa. 10.95

Soup: Habanero Corn Chowder- a very spicy corn chowder spiked with habanero


Thurs. 8/31  Stuffed Prawns — large freshwater prawns (taste like lobster to me!) baked with a crab and andouille  sausage cornbread stuffing topped with a Cajun seafood cream sauce. Served with rice pilaf and sauteed fresh veggies from the garden. 21.99

Monthly Fresh Garden  Specials (all Month)

Caprese Salad – Fresh sliced mozzarella cheese, tomatoes from Chuck’s garden and onions layered on a bed of mixed greens, drizzled with Citrus-Basil vinaigrette. Garnished with garlic bread toast points. 7.95  W/ Grilled Chicken Breast 10.95


Fried Zucchini and Squash – right from Chuck’s garden to your plate, deep fried breaded zucchini and Yellow Squash,  served with a Cajun Ranch dipping sauce. 5.99  or quick sautéed with sliced Red Onion, olive oil, kosher salt and black pepper.


Fried Pickle Medley-pickled green tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, and onions are breaded  in our cornmeal breading and served with our Cajun ranch.  If you have not tried fried pickles they are huge down south. 5.99


Quesadillas De AcelgasQuesadillas filled with wild greens, Kale, and other Fresh greens, onions, garlic, mushrooms, fresh corn & melted Jack cheese served with a side of roasted tomato salsa. 4.95


Cucumber Watermelon Saladfresh watermelon, cucumbers, red onion and feta cheese tossed with olive oil, lime juice and mint.  So refreshing. 8.95

Keep Your eyes out for our for Our Grilled Shishito Peppers (mild), during this summer, These are super Trendy and for a good reason THEY TASTE GREAT!  Served with a Oriental dipping sauce. I would put them on the monthly but not sure if my 125 plants can keep up, but they are growing great. I’m excited!
